From Imaam al-Dhahabi (rahimahullaah) who narrates in al-Siyar, the following through the route of Khuzaa'ee bin Ziyaad al-Muzanee:

Abdullah bin al-Mughaffal (radiallahu anhu) was shown (in a dream) that the (final) Hour had been established, and that the people had been assembled, and that there was a place which if a person passed he was saved, except that there was an obstacle to it. Then someone said to me, "Do you wish to be saved whilst there is in your possession what there is?" So I woke up alarmed (frightened). He (the narrator) said: So he (Abdullah) woke up his family, he had a leather case full of dinars and distributed every last one of them.
