From Imaam al-Dhahabi (rahimahullaah) who narrates in al-Siyar, the following:

Aboo Tha'labah Al-Khushanee (radiyallaahu 'anhu) died whilst he was prostrating in his prayer during the night.

When death came to 'Umar bin 'Abdil-'Azeez, he said (to those present): "Leave me alone." So Muslimah and Faatimah sat outside the door and heard him say: "Welcome to these faces, faces which are not those of humans or of the jinn." Then he recited (تِلْكَ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فَسَادًا وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ) "That is the abode of the Hereafter, We shall assign to those who seek no elevation (high position] upon the earth and nor to cause mischief; and the good outcome is for those who are the pious (muttaqeen)." (Al-Qasas: 83). Then the voice was silenced, so they entered and found his soul had been taken.

Al-Hasan bin Saalih said: When death came to my brother 'Alee, he raised his sight and then said (فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاء وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَـئِكَ رَفِيقًا) "...(they are) in the company of those on whom Allaah has bestowed His Grace, of the Prophets and the Siddiqeen and the Martyrs and the Righteous. And excellent they are as companions" (An-Nisaa: 69). Then his soul departed.
